Today we had a fun excursion! We had a twisty bus ride that ended in La Verna! This was such a beautiful place! There is mixture of nature and religious elements. We saw the location where St. Francis received the stigmata. There was something so peaceful about this location! I enjoyed just taking in the beauty! As we got back on the bus it started to drizzle a little, but it was actually really fitting with the scenery!
After dinner we went on a gelato crawl and then came back to the monastery to pack! We head to Rome tomorrow and then back to America! Not quite ready to leave this beautiful place yet!!
